Kingman Farm Cyclocross Series


Update: The Kingman Farm CX series is over for the season. Thanks to all who showed up, and good luck in the upcoming CX season!

The Wednesday Night Cross Series at Kingman Farm is back again this year! Everyone is encourage to participate in the event. Mountain bikes are absolutely welcome at the races!
Also, in past years we have had some great feedback from riders/racers about improvements. Please keep in the suggestions coming, we want to make this as good as possible for you!

Schedule:
“B” Race goes off promptly at 5:00 and lasts 30 minutes
“A” Race goes off promptly at 5:35 and lasts 45 minutes

The first race will be Wednesday September 5th, and follow for five to seven weeks (that means races fall on September 5th, 12th, 19st, 26th, October 3rd, and possibly 10th and 17th)

Entry Fees:
ENTRY FEES ARE ONLY $5! Adding the extra race is only $3 dollars. We also offer the complete series package, all 5 races for just $25! That’s a lot of ‘cross for not a lot of money. All proceeds from the race will directly benefit the UNH Cycling Team or will go into improving the races (new barriers, course tape, etc).

Rules and Other Things to Know:
- We are NOT a USAC sanctioned event. All normal rules of cyclocross still apply.
- NO DOGS AT THE VENUE.
- All riders must sign waivers before competing.
- No entering any fields that are not part of the course! there are farm experiments being conducted in the fields.
-Parking has changed. DO NOT PARK IN FIELD that has been used in the past for parking. You can now park behind the white house on the farm, and at the baseball field on Town Hall Rd in Madbury.

Directions:
From the North/South:
From I 95 take the Spaulding Turnpike North to Exit 8W (Madbury/Route 155). Follow Rt 155 for three miles. There will be signs indicating a right turn on to an access road off of a small dirt parking lot.
From Durham:
Take Madbury Road to the intersection of Rt 4. At the set of lights, go straight through, crossing Rt 4. This will intersect with Rt 155. Take a right onto 155, and about a mile later take a left turn into Kingman Farm.
From the East and West
Take Rt 4 to the intersection with Madbury Road. (from the East, take a right and from the West take a left) and then follow the directions from Durham.
